A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take out a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, not to rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they're sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bullies another child, they may say they're sorry, but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home. Copy and paste this if you are against bullying.

25 years ago today, the cult classic 'Labyrinth' was released into theaters. Starring Jennifer Connelly in her first on screen role as Sarah, who wishes her baby brother away to the goblin king, played by music legend David Bowie (who co-wrote the movies music). King Jareth then gives her thirteen hours to solve his labyrinth "before your baby brother becomes one of us, forever". It is a fantastic coming of age story, full of girl power, incomparable puppetry, and...and...well there's so much to like! I hope all fans will watch it today, and quote along with Sarah...

"Through dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the goblin city to take back the child you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom as great. You have no power over me!"

A cute little puppy is avoiding me because her mommy and daddy left her to take the other pup to the vet...I feel rejected. How can you tell when a dog likes you or if they don't? I've never lived with one before, so it's very frustrating.
